In relation to the lesson about the different types of
mixture, the grade six classes were transformed into a mini labs where some
students prepared different kinds of mixtures and classified them as
homogeneous or heterogeneous by filling in the report .In section A, each group
of students brought their own materials and arranged solid- liquid and
liquid-liquid mixtures. While in section
B some students demonstrated in front of the class how to differentiate between
the various types of mixtures by mixing different substances, and accordingly
deduce if each mixture is a homogeneous or heterogeneous.
