English language teachers and the coordinator of the English department at ABAT attended a workshop held by Harcourt Publishers at Al Saha Restaurant on Tuesday,September 11th.2012 about "Best Practices to Reading". Social, collaborative activities with much discussion and interaction were presented.It was agreed that teaching reading is a process where straregies activate prior knowledge, help students make best predictions ,help build language structure, and provides after-reading applications.
