The Time of Our Lives

After discussing what a timeline is, six graders were divided into groups; each group was assigned a grade level. They have asked the responsible teacher of each class to decide with the students upon the most important accomplishment they have done this year. Then every student signed the classroom accomplishment paper as evidence of his/her approval. After that, six graders placed the accomplishment papers on the timeline, and displayed it in the school hallway to reflect positive and good memories of all students.

An Investigation into Matter

Based on the belief about differences among students, how they learn, and their individual interests, six graders experienced a classroom session where all students learned effectively, regardless of their differences in ability. Students experimented using their household materials preparing different mixtures. They were able to recognize the differences between homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures. They were also asked to identify the solute and the solvent in each of the solutions. The most exciting step in this learning by doing activity was when a student from each group was assigned as a reporter to fetch and discuss with other groups their thoughts and ideas and transfer them to his group.

Candy Land Adventure at A.B.A.T Makassed

فصل الربيع زينة الفصول ، فيه تتفتّح الزّهور و يحلو المرح والسّرور. فيه مناسبات كثيرة ، نحتفل بها كل عام بكل نشاط وسعادة . و ما أجمل من مناسبتي عيد الأم و عيد الطّفل لنتشارك فيهما سويّاً الفرحة و الاحتفال . ربيع الحلاوة و الجمال يطلّ علينا كل عام ، ولكن ميّزة هذا العام أنّ قسم الرّوضة في كليّة علي بن أبي طالب المقاصد سرّه أن يحوّل المدرسة إلى مدينة الحلوى كما في الأحلام للإحتفال . فكان مهرجان " مغامرة في مدينة الحلوى " حيث تخلّله ألعاب نفخ ، ألعاب ترفيهيّة ، أشغال يدويّة ، رسم على الوجه ، بالونات مزيّنة ، هدايا مميّزة للأم و الطّفل ، غزل البنات ... ، والكثير من المفاجآت السارّة التي كانت بانتظار الجميع كبار وصغار .

فنحن نطمح ونسعى دوماً إلى تربية و تنمية حواس أطفالنا و تعزيز وعيهم لمحيطهم الصغير من خلال الأنشطة الّتي نخطّطها . فقد ساهمت هذه التّجربة في تنمية قدراتهم العقليّة من حيث الفهم، والإدراك، والتخيل ، و تنمية قدرتهم على التّصنيف والعدّ والتّسلسل ، المحادثة والقدرة على التّعبير عن أفكارهم ومشاعرهم تجاه رفاقهم و أمّهاتهم . و ساعدت في تنمية الشعور بالثقة بالنفس ، تطوير السلوكيات السليمة ، استخدام ما لديهم من قدرات جسديّة وخصائص مميّزة ، تنمية الشعور بالجمال، وملء نفوس الأطفال بكل ما هو جميل.

آملين أن تكون هذه تجربة لا تنسى لدى أطفالنا !
