أضحى مبارك

احتفل طلاب كلية علي بن أبي طالب بعيد الأضحى المبارك على طريقتهم الخاصة  حيث أستمعوا الى القران الكريم، شاهدوا فيلما مصورا عن الحج، لعبوا وحصلوا عل الجوائزالقيمة، شاهدوا سكاتشا طريفا بعنوان "أريد الثانوية"، استمعوا الى نصائح وتوجيهات وتمنيات بعيد مبارك من مدير الكلية الأستاذ أحمد غلاييني.

واقتداء بسيدنا ابراهيم عليه السلام  ، جمعوا مبلغا من المال واشتروا خروفا ليوزعوه على الفقراء والمساكين وهذا ليس بجديد على طلاب كلية علي بن أبي طالب فهم لطالما رسموا البسمة على وجوه المسنين والأطفال على حد سواء في منلسبات عديدة.

لا تكتمل فرحة العيد بدون الحلوى، فقد تم توزيع الكاتو والعصيرعلى الطلاب وتهادوا فيما بينم الشوكولاوالسكاكر.

شكرا لكل من ساهم في انجاح هذا الاحتفال وشكر خاص لمدرس التربية الاسلامية الشيخ سعد اسكندراني،  ومسؤول الحلقتين الثالثة والرابعة الاستاذ حسام الدين طيبة، وللسيدة زينة قرانوح والسيدة ريما سوبره.

ختاما كل عام والمقاصديين بألف خير.

The Sky Is Our Limit

One of the most cheerful moments that you live as science teachers is when you see your school’s, ABAT, students glow among other AUB science fair participants by their excellent and distinctive performance.

Congratulations dear brainy scientists Omar Wazzan, Mohieddine  Fata, Mohammad Noun, and Malak Terro for winning second and third prizes in technology model and demonstration, and science model and demonstration respectively.

Yummy Mommy Day!

Yesterday was not an ordinary day at ABAT.

Because our students’ mothers are world’s special moms, we have prepared “Yummy Mommy Day” to celebrate an early mother’s day and give them the right to enjoy every bit of this special day. And because their health is one of our concerns at ABAT, we decided to celebrate this day in a pinky way.

Mothers and their children enjoyed preparing and eating their healthy breakfast after a little discussion that took place between the six graders and their mothers on how they can prepare a healthy meal.

Later, each couple designed their own Mr. Rainbow and then the students wrapped it and gave it to their mom as a healthy edible gift.

Last but not least, students and their mothers played a game together called “Who Knows More?”, and the winner mom have been chosen as “The Best Mom”

Dear Mom, pictures speak louder than words on how much we enjoyed this amazing day!

Green School Certification

Green is here, Green is there, Green is everywhere at our Green ABAT school!

Yesterday was a special day for us at ABAT since we won the Bronze Level Certification fro Eco-solutions for becoming one of the 30 awarded green schools. 100 schools have participated, 30 of which won;25 the bronze level,3 the silver level,and 2 the gold level.

Congratulations ABAT administration, teachers,and students.

Thinking Skills

A workshop about “Thinking Skills” was presented by the elementary coordinators at A.B.A.T College. The aim of the workshop is to help teachers practice higher order thinking strategies for example, dealing in class with real – world problem, encouraging open- ended class discussion, and fostering inquiry – oriented experiments .Enjoy looking at the pictures that show how much we have enjoyed this amazing day. انطﻻقا من حديث الرسول الكريم محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم  " يا غﻻم سم الله وكل بيمينك وكل مما يليك " نفذ أطفال صف الثاني اﻻساسي فطورا صباحيا جماعيا تشاركوا فيه مع الرفاق آداب تناول الطعام ، تعرفوا على  وصايا رسولنا الكريم حول الموضوع و حفظوا الدعاء و اختبروا أهمية اكرام اﻻخرين و الضيافة ما ساهم في تنمية خلقهم الديني و تنمية حسهم اﻻجتماعي و عزز لديهم اﻻنتماء للدين اﻻسﻻمي و العزة به.

كما زين النشاط بمشاركة ضيفتنا الدائمة و المتابعة لنا في جميع اﻻنشطة الدينية مسؤولة الحلقتين اﻻولى و الثانية اﻵنسة دنيا بدر الدين التي أضفت على النشاط حسا من المحبة و السرور ، أهﻻ بك !

الاحتفال بمناسبة عيد الاستقلال على طريقة كليّة علي بن أبي طالب المقاصد

أنا لبناني

الانتماء و المواطنة قيمتان أساسيّتان من قيم المتعلّم المقاصدي نفتخر و نعتزّ بهما و نعمد إلى غرسهما في نفوس أطفالنا منذ الصّغر ليكتسبوها و يتبنّوها في الكبر و ذلك من خلال أنشطة عديدة نظّمها قسم النّشاطات في كلّية علي بن أبي طالب المقاصد للاحتفال بمناسبة عيد الاستقلال التي  كانت و ما زالت مناسبة جليلة تبعث في نفوسنا الأمل بحياة أفضل في وطن آمن للجميع.

نحن نهتم

نظّمت إدارة كلّية علي بن أبي طالب بالتّعاون مع المستوصف الصحّي المقاصدي ندوة توعويّة تحت عنوان : " معاً ... لأسنان سليمة ! " حول صحّة الفم و أهميّة الأسنان و المحافظة على نظافتها و كيفيّة الاهتمام بها و حمايتها من خلال تناول الأطعمة المغذّية و الصّحيّة و الابتعاد عن الماكولات المضرّة بها . كما تمّ التّركيز على أهميّة  استشارة طبيب الأسنان للمتابعة بشكل دوري و كان ختام هذه النّدوة برسالة خاصّة موجّهة إلى الأهالي تأكيداً على أهمّيّة الموضوع و فتح باب المناقشة و طرح الأسئلة لمزيد من الاستفسار من قبل الممرّضة المسؤولة .

علماً أن الأهالي شاركوا أطفالهم تلك المعلومات الغنيّة و تفاعلوا مع تمثيل عمليّة تنظيف الأسنان الصّحيحة و مشاهدة فيلم مصوّر قصير يحمل رسالة هادفة حول الموضوع  ممّا أثار الحماسة في نفوس أطفالنا و شجّع الأهالي على المواظبة و التّذكير المستمر لأطفالهم بالاهتمام و الاعتناء بأسنانهم .

Start Today, Save Tomorrow! Our objective is to aware school and community and parents about the huge garbage problem we are facing here in Lebanon and its hazardous effects on our environment and health. Students collected data and used recent statistical information concerning the amount of garbage being produced, and where does this garbage go. They learned about the diseases that spread in air caused by this loaded garbage. Moreover, students fetched and suggested practical solutions to encourage their parents in putting these solutions into action starting from their own home. Click to view sway!

فضل الابتسامة

إنطلاقاً من قول رسولنا الكريم محمّد ( صلى الله عليه و سلّم ) : " تبسّمك في وجه أخيك صدقة " و استناداً إلى التّجارب الكثيرة التي أجريت و أكّدت أن أحد اساليب النّجاح غير المكلفة هي الابتسامة ما يمنح جميع من حولنا شعوراً بالاطمئنان و يعزّز لديهم الثّقة بالنّفس عمدنا إلى منح أطفالنا فرصة لتّعلّم مغزى هذا القول من خلال اللّعب في حصّة التّربية الاسلاميّة . حيث نفّذ طلّاب صفّي الأول الأساسي بشعبتيه ( أ – ب ) نشاطاً مطبخياً زيّنوا خلاله قطعة الخبز باللّبنة و الزيتون و الخضار على شكل وجه السّعيد ممّا أضفى جوّاً من الفرح و السّرور في قلوبهم.

فابتسموا ....

لأنّنا نحمل راية دين الاسلام ( دين السّعادة و الايمان ) و لا تنسى أنّه لمجرّد الابتسامة في وجه أخيك في الاسلام ستسجّل لك صدقة !

العقل السليم في الجسم السليم

تعتبر الرياضة سلوكآ صحّيا هامآ لتحسين الصحّة العامة للطفل واستغلالآ ممتازآ للطاقات ووسيلة لتنميتها بشكل سليم. فالرياضة لا تفيد الجسد فحسب بل تساعد بشكل فعّال في تنشيط القدرات الذهنية وقدرة الطفل على التركيز والتفكير والتحمّل والصّبر وتنمية الثّقة بالنفس وقديمآ قيل "العقل السليم في الجسم السليم " في هذا الإطار قام تلامذة الحلقة الأولى بتمارين جسديّة وألعاب رياضيّة لتنمية مهاراتهم في جو من المتعة والبهجة والسرور

Urgent News

This is the science department at A.B.A.T College announcing to you that our young scientists have been awarded the first prize for three science projects and the third prize for one science project during the science fair exhibition of Professor Sinno.

To ABAT scientists, Kamar Zein, Mona Rafei, Dima Tohme, Hiam Noaamani, Lea Bahlwan, and Kamar Kabani , you make us feel proud. A hearty thanks to the science teachers Mrs.Farah Shoeib and Ms. Nour ,and a special thanks to Ms. Hala , Mrs. Samira, and Ms. Rana  for their assistance.

The Time of Our Lives

After discussing what a timeline is, six graders were divided into groups; each group was assigned a grade level. They have asked the responsible teacher of each class to decide with the students upon the most important accomplishment they have done this year. Then every student signed the classroom accomplishment paper as evidence of his/her approval. After that, six graders placed the accomplishment papers on the timeline, and displayed it in the school hallway to reflect positive and good memories of all students.

An Investigation into Matter

Based on the belief about differences among students, how they learn, and their individual interests, six graders experienced a classroom session where all students learned effectively, regardless of their differences in ability. Students experimented using their household materials preparing different mixtures. They were able to recognize the differences between homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures. They were also asked to identify the solute and the solvent in each of the solutions. The most exciting step in this learning by doing activity was when a student from each group was assigned as a reporter to fetch and discuss with other groups their thoughts and ideas and transfer them to his group.
